Muhammara
Here I share an absolute favorite! Muhammara is easy to make and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients
- 3 roasted red peppers
- 2 red chili peppers
- 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
- 150 g walnuts
- 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp Aleppo pepper or chili flakes
- 75 g breadcrumbs
- 100 ml olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Roast the peppers over an open flame or in a preheated oven at 200°C until charred.
- Place the peppers in a sealed plastic bag and let them steam for 10 minutes.
- Remove the skin, seeds and stems from the peppers.
- Place all ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor.
- Pulse until a coarse paste forms.
- While running, drizzle in the olive oil in a thin stream.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve with flatbread or fresh vegetables.
