Sesame Tahini Cookies
Just like hummus, I often use tahini as a savory flavor enhancer, but sometimes you need to challenge yourself. So here it is - sweet is where I put it.

- 150 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of sea salt
- 50 g sesame seeds, for coating
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Mix the tahini with the sugar in a bowl until smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, baking powder, and sea salt. Stir everything together well.
- Scoop small balls of dough with a spoon and roll them through the sesame seeds.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press them down slightly.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes until golden brown at the edges.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet before removing them. They will firm up as they cool.
